2016年の春から夏はあちこちを旅してスケッチをしていました。新しい風景に出合うとどうしてもそれを詳細に記憶したくなります。そして記憶のために風景をスケッチしながら同時にその場所の空気や人や文化と会話します。私が作品として発表するのは抽象的な「風景」ですが、それはたくさんのスケッチと私の瑣末な記憶の集積と言えます。
