2016年の春から夏はあちこちを旅してスケッチをしていました。新しい風景に出合うとどうしてもそれを詳細に記憶したくなります。そして記憶のために風景をスケッチしながら同時にその場所の空気や人や文化と会話します。私が作品として発表するのは抽象的な「風景」ですが、それはたくさんのスケッチと私の瑣末な記憶の集積と言えます。

こんにちは、今井です。草や木の緑が濃くなってだんだん夏に近づいてきた気がします。最近雨が多くて作品が乾かず制作のスピードが遅くなっています。洗濯物を干すタイミングも難しいですね。今回は４月２１日から２６日まで穴窯を焚いていましたのでそのお話をさせていただきます。

こんにちは今井です。工房の桜も散ってしまい葉が出てきて少し緑色になってきました。裏山を歩いてみるとところどころトカゲがカサカサ音を立てながら逃げていきます。もう旬が終わりかけの椿にヘビが巻き付いてきれいだったので思わず写真に撮ってしまいました。
