蜂など、群れを作って行動する生き物に魅力を感じ、立体作品を制作している彫刻家の河崎辰成さん。主にFRPを素材にしたインパクトのある作品を制作しています。FRPは、思うように自由に表現ができる材料であるため、気に入っているという。作品では、現代社会を自分なりの解釈で表現しています。自分の作品で意識しているところは、印象に強く残る作品であることと、色使い。制作は朝早くから始めるのがよいという。河崎さんいわく、「一人でも多くの方に作品を見ていただき、何かを感じていただければ嬉しいです」。上記と下記のとおり、河崎さんの作品をご紹介します。

Sculpture artist Tatsunori Kawasaki is fascinated by creatures that move around in groups, such as bees. He creates impressive sculptures mainly using FRP, a material that enables him to express himself freely. Kawasaki expresses modern society through his own interpretation, and makes an effort to create artworks that leave a strong impression on people, including the use of colors. He likes to create his artworks from early in the morning. Kawasaki mentions that he would like lots of people to see his artworks and feel something through his artworks.
